From Pencil Drawings To Actual Renderings

The History Behind Our House Plans

In February 2017 we found a home we loved and started inquiring about building a custom home. (Like the one seen here) We quickly learned that this company didn't want to make it very custom, by limiting the amount of changes we could do, to only a few.

This was a quick turn off so we started drawing our own home plans for fun. 

Day after day we would sit and design our dream home just like this, at the kitchen table. Dreaming up every detail from style to type of flooring to many outdoor living.

After many paper drawings, highlighting, and trimming, Kory drew it to scale on the computer. This helps us see our vision clearly.

These are NOT the final home but it was a start and it evolved A LOT from here.

After we got property we were motivated to really get going on final drawings and get them to our architect. Things happened fast!

Let's get to the fun part!!! We JUST got some renderings back from our architect. This is not the final but it is close...

That's all we have so far. You can imagine how exciting these were to receive. This whole process is surreal. To think that we drew this house with every single detail exactly how we think we want it, and now seeing it come to life, it is exciting.
