Slowing Down - Good For The Soul
Moving "Into The Woods" is not for the faint of heart. This has been quite an adjustment for the family but some of that might be that we are selling our own house, ordering school curriculum, working with current clients, have 4 deals in escrow and prepping for a few upcoming listings ALL at the same time. We are not new to this pace of life. We do love it and know we are truly blessed!
It's not often you get to JUST SIT and take in the sounds of the wind, birds, neighbor chickens, and worship music coming from your outdoor speakers.
When we are out here it's easy to forget about the worries of the world because we have no TV, no neighbors close by, and it's simply beautiful.
Each morning we open that trailer door and the sun beams through the trees right in our 'home'.
(I know winter is coming and it won't be long till we don't see that morning sun)
MORNING VISITOR
This morning we had a brave goldfinch come right up to our bird bath.
Just yesterday we brought over the last of our plants from the house. I had some strawberries in a pot that was set out a ways from the trailer and we woke up to this....
Two nights ago there was a herd of elk in our yard. I didn't want to bother them but tried to get a picture. This is the best I've got. He's between the trees. As time goes on we will get more pics of them I'm sure.
2 CRAZY 'COLORFUL' ANIMALS
I'll end with this. These kids are loving all of the exploring they get to do out here. Here they are crazy ninjas on a hot day. I just have to smirk at the accessories they chose and let them imagine and play.
Next up will be making the pad our home. Here's what we started with, wait till you see what we've done to the place.
